Nothing to do with Dr Zsema.... The front desk secretary at Dr Szema's office, Jill, called & left me a message after I had missed her call. She said to 'call & ask that they put me through the front office to make an appt for the specific test that I need bc only they do that. ' I called back at the # she gave me & answering service answered & refused to let me talk to the front desk, saying they have to relay the message to call me back themselves. Feeling a lack of empathy that I’ve been having hives for 3 months and she keeps telling me to do the same thing and it’s not helping any

Dr. Szema is the one doctor who finally cured my persistent cough so I cannot say enough about her expertise. I completely trust her recommendations. She is clear in her explanations and patiently answers my questions. She is warm and friendly and does not rush the appointment.

Dr. Szema initial treated me for allergies. When she didn’t like he sound of my lungs, she ordered an X-ray that revealed I had pneumonia. Her continued diligence has me on course to discovering an underlying cause.
Dr. Katherine Szema is a very professional, knowledgeable, and competent physician. In 2015, I originally consulted with her only because of allergies. At the same time, my GP was treating me for a prolonged respiratory illness. She diagnosed me with an immune deficiency (CVID) I had no idea I had. Blood tests revealed I had 'zero' pneumococcal antibodies and low immunoglobulin levels. After exploring various treatment options, I now receive immunoglobulin infusions and my numbers improved.
Dr Sczema is a phenomenal doctor who advocates and works hard for her patient. Office staff is amazing.
