Difficult to access. Peremptory, rushed visits.
Saw Dr Root as an alternate to my PCP in a critical time. Did not know what to expect. Patient "care quotient" extremely high. After a short exam and history, I did not feel like a new patient. Extraordinary. I took the time to research her practice and will call for follow up in her OC practice.
She is a great doctor and she takes her time. She is very thorough and listens.
different nurse every time you go in, obviously not someone you'd want to work with. doesn't prescribe meds. wrote me 2 prescriptions for jock itch that were just over the counter strength. after 4 weeks and 4 appointments what she diagnosed as a pulled muscle was a pinched sciatic nerve, still no meds. did not send referral to insurance so the chiropractor got screwed out of claims. rushes through every visit, doesn't communicate. finally wrote a prescription for a topical cream that was compounded and not covered by insura... read more

My husband will never be back there again! They give you the go arounds and all they care about is racking up and billing insurance for payment! They refused to help my husband get his medicine that he needed! This is not how you run a medical practice making someone wait 1 1/2 months to be seen to get help when he takes off work to go, then when he is there finally she refuses to write him prescription until he gets to a specialist for his adhd medicine.
