Dr. Alexis is the best personal physician I have ever met - bar none. She treats my 80+ year old mother and I have attended several appointments with her. If I could give her 10 stars I would. In 60+ years of seeing a variety of doctors in several states and overseas I have never come across an office run this well with a doctor who truly CARES for her patients and goes above and beyond standard medical practice. I wish medical schools would use her to demonstrate what medical care should be like in every office.
Never in my life have I consulted a family care physician as thorough, intuitive and caring as Katherine Alexis, MD. The first visit with her was unlike any of my visits with previous primary care providers. She took my long and rather complex medical history, focusing on significant factors that had never before been considered in much depth. Never in my life have I consulted a family care physician as thorough, intuitive and caring as Katherine Alexis, MD. I am long accustomed to being herded through a family clinic as rapidly as possible. The actual examining room consultations last no more than 15 minutes, with the usual lasting between 8 and 10. The providers I've previously seen would discuss two or three concerns before hustling me out, feeling half-listened to or outright neglected.
