I had an appointment with Katherine Gonzaga that I waited quite a while for. On the day of my appointment, she called me to cancel and insisted I go to the ER. I told her I have had my condition for a while, it is stable and I currently have no symptoms. I felt fine and none of my other doctors, whom I was actively consulting, felt that I had an emergency. I met Dr. Gonzaga several years ago during a medical mystery tour with specialists trying to diagnose me. While my mystery didn't fall under Dr. Gonzagas field, other health issues did. A hiatus occured with insurance changing, her migrating to another practice and a little bundle arriving causing a maternity leave. I recently saw her and was really happy that she refreshed her memory and remembered me. It made for a very easy time catching up.
