Dr. Harper is very attentive. She listens well and explains clearly. She takes a step-by-step approach to problem solving. I saw her for arthritis in my knee. We first did a steroid shot and when that didn’t work well, we did a lubricant for the knee, which did help. She outlined a treatment plan going forward if needed.
Ms.Harper successfully guided me through 2 hip surgeries in four months. I'm very appreciative to Ms.Harper and everyone at Medstar.
Dr. Harper is very egotistical and resented it when I refused to go forward with her hunches and insisted that she do the x-rays necessary to back up her opinions. Her response to my insistence was to break into fake laughter and say, "Oh, Mrs. Berman, you make me laugh!" I replied that she didn't make me laugh because I thought she was a bad doctor who didn't listen to her patients. She got it together immediately and ordered the tests.
