Dr. Poltatskaya is an exceptionally skilled surgeon, who truly cares for her patients.
I'm not happy with her work on my nose. I had Basal cut out and she was supposed to repair it. During my consultation we discussed her fixing the concavement which she said that she would. She came into the room before the surgery and told me how nobody's face is symmetrical. Then she said she knew what she was going to do and recoded the procedure and had me sign it. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Kate Polyatskaya, who performed two surgeries that I needed related to my cancer treatment. She is very careful with the procedures to achieve the best possible results, shows confidence in her knowledge/ability, is honest sharing pros and cons related to possible options, and worries about the well being of the patient. Dr Kate shows empathy towards the patient. The only difficulty I experienced was related to communication with her back-office, which was stressing at times.
Unfortunately, this doctor went from 5 star to 1 due to her incompetent and rude surgery scheduler, Lizeth. I was given ONE date for a non emergent surgery at the end of August, when all along the doctor assured me (she wrote in my visit summaries) I would be able to complete my surgery at the end of July. This was discouraging but not something I can’t roll with. I had already waited 5 weeks to even hear from the surgery scheduler.
