I can’t say enough great things about Kate Emilie's A Salon! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the warmest and kindest receptionist who instantly makes you feel at home. Everyone there is SO SO nice—it’s such a welcoming and comforting atmosphere. I came in recently with allergies and could barely talk, and everyone was so kind, asking if I wanted water or need anything else. I have been going to Kate for several years now. I really believe she is the best hairstylist I have gone to in my 70 years of life. I always leave feeling cared for and beautiful. Highly recommended. My daughter, granddaughter and I go together and make a day of it. We are all happy with our various styles.
Kate does a fantastic job with hair coloring, highlights and cuts. I'm a woman of a certain age that has been getting my hair done for longer than I will admit. I have been to the top salons in both CT and NY and am very particular. I know good work - and that is what Kate does. I always receive compliments on my hair. The last time was at a family event in which folks wanted to know if I just had my hair done it looked so good - when in fact it was weeks ago. My daughter in law goes to Kate Emilie’s salon and was kind enough to make me an appointment today. She knows I have had my hair done many many times professionally and I have always come away unhappy until today. Jessica did my highlights only my hair doesn’t look like I just had it lightened.
