This was my first and last time I will ever eat here, I got the smash burger that was $18 no fries but it came with a side of paper still stuck to the cheese on my burger I notice when I took my second bite when the texture did not feel right I was so disgusted after that. My kids got chicken that was tasteless they said. There was only 1 out of 4 of us that was ok with their food and they had a BLT. This is a prices place to eat definitely not worth it
My party was treated so rudely at this cafe last week. I am a full time island resident and was embarrassed my visiting family was subjected to this. We arrived early for lunch in order to select an inside table we wanted. Midway through our meal we were asked to take our food and move to another table because a group that came in 20 minutes after us also wanted to eat inside and our table was needed for them. The Hungry Detective and Special Agent Deirdre found this little gem on our way to the ocean…Such a cool vibe and awesome food and service!!! A true diamond in the rough!!! VERDICT: Guilty as sin for serving up the perfect breakfast We shall return for the best burger on the island and a painkiller or two NOTE: Nancy the owner is top shelf and a gem…tell her the Hungry Detective sent you!!!
What a beautiful hidden gem this spot is. Nancy and the team were all awesome! "The other breakfast sando" was probably top 3 breakfast sandwiches we've ever had in our lives! Watching the planes land and seeing the sense of community this little spot brings together was heart warming. The location is quite literally fit for a movie set. I hope to make it back to MV in the near future and Katama Kitchen will surely be a part of our daily routine!
