Katalin Scherer was very rude and dismissive. She spoke down to her resident running the nerve study test. It was extremely awkward laying there being poked at while she was barking orders to the technician. Then when I had questions about the test results she snapped her answer "the arm is normal! So we won't test your neck or back if the arm is normal!!" and walked out! Didn't let me finish talking. Just left. I was in tears literally. I have never been so insulted in my life. I have a disease that she admits she knows nothing about, but yet was telling me what I was supposed to do. She is a woman that knows everything, but knew nothing. Arguing with me about what a muscle biopsy showed that I have. Telling me to exercise when my disease is not one that I am supposed to exercise with. My husband and I walked out before she could even check me out. If I could give 0 stars for this cocky insulting lady, I would. I will be letting banner know what happened.

She will cast all of her prejudgments and assumptions of you and make her diagnosis before listening. I have never met a more rude Doctor or person in my life.
Dr. Scherer diagnosed my late sister with ALS in April. My sister said that Dr. Scherer was very cold, uncaring, rude, inconsiderate, and flippant. When she gave my sister the most horrific diagnosis one can possibly receive, it was basically like she told my sister that there was nothing she could do other than to go home and die. My sister tried to get her medical records so that she could at least go on disability, and it took her at least 6 phone calls to try to get her records.
