Katahdin pediatric dentistry is the best. Ample parking and easy access. The check-in process is easy and the lobby is comfortable with toys for the little ones. We ended up waiting about 25 minutes past our appointment time, which is not ideal, but things happen. The dental tech was very sweet and understanding and explained the process to me expertly. Dr Tooloo did a great job interacting with my 2 year old! He examined him by making him laugh and playing with him. He waited for permission and got my son to trust him. Dr Tooloo knew when to stop to create a trusting environment for future visits. Knowledgable! Communication with me as a parent was appropriate. He asked questions and made sure I was comfortable with the plan and got what I expected from the visit.
Was frustrated trying to find the place but once I did it was a good experience. Staff was very friendly and thanked me for my patience due to running late by about 15 minutes. The whole time was top tier and they explained everything to me and patiently answered my questions.. they made it as much of a good time for my 8 year old as a dental visit can be. One of the best places to take a child as far as my experience has been.
