After seeing reviews I was scared but booked anyway. Stayed here 3 nights, to propose to my girlfriend. I asked the hotel beforehand to help decorate the room and they said no problem at all, and would also give a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate. Then unfortunately after a few days they replied again saying it’s not possible to help decorate the room, and that I would have to hire a specialist for this… which costs around $400-$800 depending how you want it. Location was good but that’s about it. They advertise as a 4 star hotel but I promise you this is a 2 star hotel at max and I am being generous. Showers leak, there are stains EVERYWHERE. The showers are disgusting to the point where I couldn’t use them without flip flops, the rooms are riddled with flies, the phones don’t work, and all the shower glasses have gross dirt stain marks on them, the front desk also refused to refund us after being on the property for less than 30 minutes after checking out the room. DANGER - do not stay. As if the half unscrewed doorknob to the room door that opened from an outside open access walkway wasn’t enough…. There’s electrical danger bc of multiple extension cords, open holes cut in the walls, clear water damage, completely scratched floors and general uncleanliness. The doors to the hotel interior above the first floor had no security locks or keycard access at all. Anyone could scale up a floor and walk right in. The problems started at check-in. The keypad code for my room door didn't work, forcing me to trek back to the front desk for a physical key. Once I got into the room, the door wouldn't close fully, there was a visible gap with light coming in from the hallway, which is both a comfort and a security issue. From there, things only went downhill. The floor was dirty and covered in beach sand and if the floor is covered in beach sand, that sand ends up in your bed too. This place does not look like it pics, The place is dirty outdated no ramp to bring your luggage up, the pool was closed, the room I booked and the room they gave me were two completely different rooms. The toilet seat was discolored and gross . The shower was disgusting. The roach motel is better. The balcony was filthy , the table was broken and on the floor. The hotel smelled so musty , I would never recommend anyone to stay here .
