Previously reviewed this place which was average at best. I am doing another review as we have never been given our deposit back from the hotel which was close to £200 gbp!!! I have tried emailing multiple times to see where this is but completely ignored. Do not use!!!
The hotel is in a great location near to many bars and restaurants as well as walking distance to the beach. We were given a spacious room with a balcony that we had never originally booked. The bed was comfortable with a large shower that worked well. However, the balcony wasn’t the cleanest and we had an issue with ants entering the room from there. Horrible service
I honestly regret staying at this hotel. It was incredibly overpriced for what it offers, and there are much nicer hotels in the area for the same price. The pictures online are very misleading. The hotel looks nothing like the photos, and I felt disappointed the moment I arrived. The room looked decent at first, but the AC vents were dripping water, leaving the floor soaking wet. I was very happy with my stay here. Yes, there are small changes that I'd like to see. It's the Little Things that would make this property an awesome place to stay. However, from the attentiveness of the Front Desk staff, to the patience of the Housekeeping Staff, I'd absolutely stay here again. The location is so optimal on many levels - around the corner from the Convention Center, one block away from Lincoln Road, and 2 blocks away from the 17th Street entrance to the Beach.
