Sent our daughter here. Absolute nightmare. You wouldn’t believe the way they treat a 10 year old kid. Parents, please keep doing your research. There are better places

I join the long list of 1 star reviews from people who were humiliated and sexually traumatized at Kartini Clinic. This review pertains to practices from nearly 20 years ago, but I feel I'm owed the space to state this- an opportunity I was denied as a teen. Kartini Clinic had traumatizing practices, including humiliation, false reports of success, predatory payment schemes, forced stripping, inappropriate accusations of concealing weight or substances in body cavities, and harassment/intimidation of parents to try to manipu... read more

Beware of Deceptive Billing Practices In 2023, we went through the entire treatment with mixed results. Unfortunately, our teenage child relapsed in 2024. That treatment was fully covered by my insurance’s out-of-pocket maximum, so everything else was completely paid by insurance. terrible place, made me worse than better. i’ve gotten treatment through other means since and have fully recovered, but kartini traumatized me so terrible the road to recovery was much more difficult than it should have been. they give misinformation, blatantly pick favorites, drug up the kids so much they can’t stay awake throughout the day, etc. therapists aren’t actually qualified therapists, and will tell everyone whatever you tell them in confidence (i did not imply harming myself or others) Id like to add that I witne... read more

Never go to this place. They told my friend that “everything you eat turns into fat”. They don’t treat eating disorders, they make it worse. They also told them they will treat them with this pill to help them lose weight and stop having thoughts of food. They said to them that it will stop people from bullying them for their weight and it will make them play more sports. These people have no idea what they are doing and they made them feel worse for struggling. If you are thinking of going here, please reconsider.
