Very skilled at Colonoscopy. My first one as cancer screen at age 50, I opted for no sedation, since I'd researched others who'd done it. Appt took a total of 45 minutes, & procedure only 25 minutes, and I could walk/drive right out, undrugged. I had literally NO pain or pressure. It just felt like a gentle baby kicking. Prior to seeing Dr. Karthikeyan, I had read many negative reviews about him. Since I am a resident of Brockport and his office is within walking distance, I decided to take a chance and see him. I found him to be kind and very professional. He wasn't at all like the person described in many of the negative responses. Honest, caring, took his time with me. Office staff calm, posit and efficient.
Hassle free. Fast and professional. No complaints.
Won't return next time. Didn't explain procedure well or have compassion for the vulnerability of the procedure. Staff also seemed cold and aloof.
Long time patient. Always a positive experience, endoscopy suite is much nicer and faster than in the hospital. Staff is very friendly and caring. Much better than other GI doctor's I have seen in the past. Recommend to all my friends and family.

Long story short, WORST office ever. There was miscommunication between them and my insurance company. Turns out they dont accept my insurance, after seeing me for an office visit and an endoscopy. So they refused to see me for my follow up to get my biopsy results, started me on samples of a medication for the multiple stomach ulcers he discovered and now wont continue to treat me. I was never offered to pay cash for a visit until I can find a new doctor. My appointment was just canceled.
