Schedule an appointment because I wasn't feeling good. I was in the emergency room last Monday and that's all they wanted to talk about. I needed to have the paperwork done for my employer for FMLA or leave. I had the paperwork in an email and needed it printed out so they could get it filled out and they would not print it out. Told me I had to fax it to them or send it through my chart. I tried to send it through my chart. My chart would not accept the documents that I had to be able to get them. I did not have a great experience. In fact, this is not the first time that I’ve had an unpleasant experience. My perception is that everything is based on money and patients are not at the center of every decision that is made. I understand that not all physicians are comfortable with a certain level of care, however, I would’ve liked to have been told that prior to scheduling an appointment and paying for a visit that wasn’t beneficial to me.
