I booked an appointment with Dr. Patel over five weeks ago, and his office even reconfirmed it this morning. Just now, they called to cancel, saying he is no longer taking new patients in December and would not be seeing me tomorrow. It’s extremely frustrating, especially when it takes months to get in with a doctor. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
I used to go to this location when it was Drs Balacco and DeMarco. When they retired I was just using urgent care but eventually decided to try Dr. Patel and I definitely recommend him. He is a great doc...takes his time with you and is very thorough. I've never felt rushed and every one of my concerns is always addressed. The downside is typical for docs offices these days: Call and you have to go through so many prompts it's annoying but that's no reflection on the doc himself. Highly recommend Dr. Patel!
Staff are always accommodating and Dr. Patel listens and makes it easy to understand what we must do to improve our health habits. I have been going there to Hoboken Family practice since 2004 and satisfied.
Very thoughtful and kind doctor, willing to take time to chat. Happy to continue continue going to him.
