I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience so others don’t go through the same. I traveled to New York from out of state specifically to get my hair done at this salon based on their great reviews. I requested a half black, half platinum style, and after viewing my hair in person, the stylist assured me it could absolutely be done. That gave me the confidence to proceed. I’m OBSESSED WITH MY HAIR!!! Kiara did such a GREAT JOB with making this Burning man look for me. For the record, I’ve been doing this kind of the hairstyle for the first time in my life. Can’t recommend Kiara more! She was always in touch with me before the appointment, very professional and amazing person!
Marsha Did my Gel manicure & Regular Pedicure. I gave 3 stars coz she was nice. But i can say im not satisfied with the result. And it was a bit painful when she was doing the cleaning.
It's unfortunate that there continues to be confusion surrounding Kiara and the former business location on Jamaica Avenue, which she sold over a year ago. Since then, Kiara has completely transitioned into a new chapter focused on content creation and no longer has any affiliation with that location or its current owners. What’s even more troubling is the obsessive and targeted behavior from the new ownership, who appear fixated on discrediting Kiara's new brand — which has nothing to do with hair or her previous business.... read more
Kiara’s expertise and attention to details are truly impressive. I booked her to get stitch braids done for a vacation. She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, she asked questions throughout the entire process and made sure I was comfortable and liking it every step of the way.
