Dr. Bhatia is the best. She cares a lot about my son and has helped him with his Addison’s, diabetes and Hashimoto’s. My previous endocrinologist was in and out of the room with no follow up but Dr. Bhatia took time to explain results and plan. She also made sure we had rescue medications which was never explained to us by the doctors we used to see. I am happy that my son respects her a lot and is now more involved in his health. PLEASE, if you need a doctor who cares about you, do not see this woman. Countless issues in the past but today was the last straw. Last week, I was supposed to have an appointment with Dr. Bhatia. The office was supposed to call me to tell me they sent my lab order to go get bloodwork done, they did not. So I had to cancel my quest appointment and cancel my appointment with Dr. Bhatia. Giving one star because she didn’t think it was necessary to call me or have me go into her office to give me results of a biopsy. She had her medical assistant message me on the portal. Being referred to hematology/oncology is very scary and for 3 days, I had to message her office continuously to get her to call me so I could ask questions. Very detail-oriented and was able to diagnose a rare disease (1 in 100000) that was neglected by primary care. She explained and called me regarding treatment plan and after starting me on meds, symptoms took a 360 degree turn and feeling really good. She saved my life and I am very grateful for her expertise. She also sees a family member for parathyroid problem and have been very pleased with her care. I highly recommend her.
