Dr papa is a very careful eye surgeon the practice is well run and I would recommend him if you need cataract surgery
Dr Pappa saved me from losing my eyesight in my right eye years ago. I have gone to him ever since. He is very knowledgeable and I believe with his vast patient list he has probably seen everything. I recommend him 100pct. The wait times can be a little longer. But you have to sit for about 15 Minutes for eyedrops to take affect.
I am an optometrist that works in Cols. I have sent patients to Dr Pappa for over 10 years and have never had a patient return to me with a bad surgical outcome. He has checked my eyes b4 and it is obvious to me that both Dr Pappa and my other favorite glaucoma specialist Dr David Lehmann care very much for their patients and are trying to help prevent the patients from losing any vision from glaucoma. Waited almost 2 hours despite front office saying there were only 2 people ahead of us. His assistant was crass
The wait time was over 2 hours. He does not explain test results and is always in a hurry to leave. He has excellent surgical skills but is socially inept.
Dr Pappa is an incredible doctor. My surgery was quick and painless and the next day, when I had my bandage taken off, I was seeing 20/25. I couldn't even read any letters on the eye chart before the surgery. Now a week after both eye surgeries I have 20/20. I went from wearing thick glasses and everything looking dull and fuzzy to now my vision is sharp and everything looks bright and colorful. Dr. Pappa changed my life.
The biggest problem is the one to two hour wait time. Unless you have specific questions, the time with Dr. Pappa is brief. He is an excellent surgeon. The wait time has not improved over the years.
Dr. Pappa is the best! He is worth the wait. He saved my MIL's vision and treated her with kindness and superior care. He truly knows what he is doing. I highly recommend him.
The biggest problem with his practice is the one to two hour wait time which has not improved over the years that he was my physician. His communication skills are limited to a few minutes if you have questions. His primary skills are in doing surgery.
