Dr Schultheiss saved my life through two different cancer treatments. Having him for a doctor was the luckiest event in my life. He is a fantastic Doctor and I credit him for the fact that I am still alive and cancer free.
Was not up front to tell me cancer returned and spread everywhere. Danced around it
I feel extremely lucky to have had Dr. Schultheiss for my doctor for the last 5 1/2 years. Through the treatment and for the aftercare for my lung cancer, he has always been knowledgeable, caring and extremely competent. He has even gotten me in quickly without an appointment. If you gotta have cancer, this is the guy you want getting you through it. I have a little trouble understanding his German accent, but we make sure I understand everything he's telling me. Everybody in that office is a pleasure to work with.
As a mid-level provider I did extensive research when choosing my oncologist. I am so fortunate to have found Dr. Schultheiss and St. Alphonsus Cancer Care. He is brilliant, kind, and determined to provide the best care possible. When I was initially diagnosed I was very frightened, but he, along with his staff, had made me feel safe.
I needed an appintment as soon as available but could only get one a week later. However, the scheduling assistant took my phone and name and called me as soon as she had a cancellation, so I got my appointment after waiting only one day.
This visit was a five years after cancer treatment follow up with no problems or new issues related to the previous treatment. No difficulties other than Dr. Schultheiss is soft-spoken and I have some hearing loss and have to ask for repetition sometimes.

Dr Schultheiss is an incredibly fine doctor. My last visit was up to his continuing high standards. I was treated with care and respect and know tat he, and all his staff, are very interested in me and in solving my health problems
Dr Schultheiss is thorough kind and very understanding. He is the Dr you want when you are going through serious medical conditions.
