I don’t normally write reviews, but felt compelled to write one when I read the post by Gabrielle. First, Gabrielle, my heart goes out to you and I sincerely hope that you find a palliative care doctor that you are happy with and fulfils all your needs. I too am terminally ill and was referred to Dr. Ahlswede for my palliative care. Fortunately, my experiences with Dr. Ahlswede have been nothing but positive. Dr. Ahlswede is one of the most empathetic doctors we have ever met. It felt like he truly listens to you and cares. We would recommend him to anyone!!!!
Dr. Alshweed was extremely dismissive and offered false information that he could not back up with medical fact. I have a life threatening disease and have decline DRASTICALLY over the past year and was so hopefully that palliative Care would be a safe comfort for me and my family to deal with this horrid disease that had cause multiple other severe diagnosis. I expressed my medical concerns of what I'm experiencing at present and he offered absolutely NO help whatsoever on any of the issues. I would NEVER recommend this Dr ... read more
