I was extremely impressed with Dr. Volkoff Smith. I have not been to a naturopath previously, but if Dr. Volkoff Smith is the norm, I have high hopes for this field. I suspect that she is a cut above the rest, however. I am used to western medicine doctor's visits where you spend 20 minutes with a medical assistant taking down information you already gave them in your patient documents, then 10 minutes with a physician whose first and last suggestion will be a medication that you're not interested in taking.
