Scott camps Great doctor.! Atlanta Gastro is horrible! They will let you die before they hey calm you back. Only in it for all the money they can suck from your insurance company. Dr Obideen either doesn’t know or doesn’t care how bad they are with patient care after they leave his exam office. Very sad situation.
Absolutely ridiculous. I was approved for a colonoscopy last year and the prep was to drink 64 oz of fluid. At that time, I shared with them that I can't tolerate that much fluid in such a short period of time and they told me I can use another process that utilizes only 12 oz of fluid. I had to cancel that appointment. Fast forward to today, I have an appointment for Feb 15th, I called in for the list for prep, but they won't give me the name of the smaller dose of fluid unless I pay for a doctor visit. Honestly it blows my mind how unprofessional, unorganized and just absolutely delusional this practice is. Spent 2 weeks chasing after test results, left multiple messages to get the call back suddenly I was alerted to activity on my Walgreens pharmacy app that 3 medications were prescribed. Dr. Kongara literally changed my life! For over 20 years about 2x a year, I'd get stomach pains so bad that it I couldn't eat, couldn't exercise, struggled at work; basically incapacitated. No dr could figure it out. Kongara was determined. She told me next time it happened, get to the ER and we'll get x-rays. Turns out my appendix would expand but not burst. 20 years. Just called with a severe issue. Been in bed for three days with Acid Reflux or an esophageal issue. Haven’t been able to eat or drink. Even causing stomach pain. The girl who answered the phone(wish I had gotten her name) was rude as heck and I was told the earliest appointment was November 27th. REALLY? For an established patient…and they cannot work in emergencies? Will NEVER be back there and I will be quick to tell all my Marietta friends to NEVER go there. Ridiculous. After a procedure done at Atlanta Gastro (Athens Campus) on 12/8/21, we established on 2/15/21 that I was due a refund of $378. We established this on a recorded phone call with my insurance company and the AG billing office. What has occurred since that date is nothing short of criminal. I have yet to receive a check. I have been seeing Dr. kalman for at least five years for pancreatitis. He is the only physician that has ever really tried to help me with my condition. He is incredibly patient and a great listener. In all these years he is never let me down. I would recommend him to anyone
I do not recommend this practice. You are treated as a number and not a patient. Person who does preliminary vitals is very rude and brusk. The PA-C, Ms. Holland, was not much better. She rushes you through your appointment, while giving the impression that she does not believe your symptoms. Also, after having me lay in a prone position, and then, needing assistance to get back up, she flatly refused to help or get help.
