Dr Armstrong is very professional and really cares about your well-being. Believe me, we have seen plenty psychologists throughout my son’s life. She is a good one.
I was nervous going into this appointment but felt relaxed within minutes.Dr. Armstrong accepted my typed notes and expressed appreciation for them, which is always a good sign for any doctor. She was kind, understanding and patient with my 6 year old today. The testing can indeed take a long time, but she used a different test to accommodate my little one & was calm, yet observant, about any behavioral issues that arose. I would definitely recommend her for testing.
Karen Armstrong held my 8 year old son with special needs in her back office for 60 minutes after he repeatedly told her no, he did not want to complete her evaluations. She was dishonst with my son telling him it would only take a few minutes but turns out it would have been 2 1/2 hours of evaluation time if her receptionist never would have called to check the status.
