My name is Maria King and I hired Karen Stone for a high conflict divorce and custody case. For six months she did absolutely nothing but waste my time and money. She took days, weeks to return messages, She was impossible to get ahold of and when I actually did manage to get ahold of her she didn’t have the facts of my case correct at all nor did she even seem to care about any of my concerns. If I could give a -5 review, I would. Mrs. Stone ignored calls and emails for over 2 years to resolve an issue with a divorce settlement. Would not recommend.
Would not recommend at all! After a year in a half of working with her to dissolve a 4 year marriage with no kids and no assets, we hired another attorney that got it done in 2 weeks.
I met with Karen back in March 2023, to file for my divorce. she assured me it would be a quick process not more than 6 months since we had no assets or children. Well almost 2 years later I have had switched to a new attorney. She did not respond to me in an orderly manner, continued to favor my exes side on every matter, as well as drag this out claiming “he would not sign and she called him multiple times”.
