Do not go to this practice. While I rarely write reviews, I feel compelled to after a horrible experience with Dr. Druzak. I am a first-time patient who was referred to her directly from urgent care for a complicated matter. Rather than greet me, the first thing she said to me was, "you are totally fine" - while holding the lab results from urgent care where I was told to go directly to a gynecologist. Karen Druzak was rushed and dismissive. I went to her for a consult on contraceptive options. She literally waved away all of my concerns, gave me a pamphlet on a form of birth control I had already told her I wasn't willing to try again, and walked me out of the office.
I have been a patient of this office for 25 years. The doctor was asking me questions which I thought were related to menopause and my female yearly visit and they’ve decided to bill me an extra $278 which the insurance company will not cover because it’s considered as two office visits in one day. When I called and discussed this. They’re like well You filled out this paperwork and you filled out this paperwork there was absolutely zero empathy or care for me as a patient. I felt the need to write this review in hopes that other women will avoid the experience I had with Dr. Druzak. I was a first-time patient on a referral from my primary, seeking specialized guidance on my condition. From the beginning, Dr. Druzak's poor bedside manner set the tone for the rest of the appointment.
