I was referred to Dr. Lynch by my optometrist to follow up on stroke and heart attack risk. Dr. Lynch was unaware of the research and was unwilling to consider the issue. She wanted to write me a prescription for a mouth guard and suggested I see an acupuncturist since I "was concerned about circulation." The acupuncturist suggested at least getting a carotid artery scan. Dr. Lynch was resistant to ordering it. Within the year I had a brain aneurysm rupture. I didn't sue.
I recently saw Dr. Lynch for an emergency situation. She was incredible. I switched to Dr. Lynch as my primary Dr. after that visit. I am very happy with her service. She has giving me referrals for two other Dr.'s to help with other complications I am having with my health. I have recommended her to some of my co-workers.
It's difficult to get a referral to a specialist from her. She thinks that she can and should handle all health issues herself, even when she doesn't have any way of diagnosing the problem. I need an MRI on my back, for example, yet she just wants to me to do physical therapy because she doesn't want me exposed to radiation...but MRI's don't emit any radiation so she is not very knowledgable on the subject. Same goes for wanting to be referred to an allergist.
