Our wedding cake was absolutely stunning!! Karen put lots of vibrant colors and character into it. It was just what we had envisioned! :)
Every time we are in Asheville, NC we always try to visit Karen Donatello's famous bakery. It never disappoints you, always feels like a kid in a candy store! We had three cakes done last weekend by Karen...a wedding cake, the grooms birthday cake and a 40th anniversary cake. Let me tell you! The anniversary cake was Italian Cream with mandarin orange filling, whipped cream frosting and fresh berries. OMG! I've never had a better cake. Karen, you exceeded my expectations and if I'm ever back in NC, I'll be back again! Thank you for adding to the surprise this weekend! (All the cakes were divine! The wedding cake was a moist Tiramisu, the birthday cake was strawberry cream!)
