So, in the middle of the pandemic and the crazy housing market, I needed to move to the Monterey Bay area due to a new job. Karen and her colleague Sylvia were champs! They previewed the available properties so that I didn't drive 100 miles to see something that wouldn't work for me. They guided me through all phases of the house hunt and purchase. Karen even helped with some post-purchase issues and provided referrals to service people in the area. I can't say enough positive things about this team.
I can’t say enough about Karen Calley of Caldwell Bankers dedication to helping us find our new home here in Monterey. Karen worked tirelessly to find us exactly what we wanted; an older home with charm, and being a 30 year old house it needed plenty of upgrading. Karen was integral to helping us with everything we needed. She used her connections in the community to refer us to an army of contractors, she then followed up to make sure everything went as planned.
My husband and I live on the east coast, and Karen sold our Seaside home remotely for us for a great price and with streamlined precision. She helped us to hire vendors to paint and landscape, and made our house positively shine. She even coordinated a notary to come to our house and a remote closing. I'll refer her to everyone I know in the Monterey area!
Karen is a hoot to work with. Selling a home is an incredibly stressful experience, but Karen brings humor and a can-do attitude to the process. She is frank about what needs to be done to make a home presentable, and more importantly, has a deep Rolodex of contacts to make it all happen. But she's also flexible and accommodating. Her ability to see humor in life's craziness also makes her a great sounding board when and if the stress gets to be too much. I would totally work with her again!
