We have been buying beads from Karen and Mindy for a long time. We have had nothing but positive feelings from purchasing beads from them! We were in the store last week and a lady came in asking for help. A rhinestone had fallen out of her grandmother's necklace (white enamel flower -multi) which are right in style today. She wanted to wear it at an upcoming wedding. Mindy sat her down at the work table and brought over a cup of loose rhinestones which she poured in front of the lady and told her to search for one. As a long time beading instructor, I would like to compliment the owner on the warm welcome she has given our bead club. She goes out of her way to see to our needs. Her wit and talent in many mediums, make a visit to her store worthwhile. The products merchandise are awesome. I'm there at least once a week and am still discovering new items.

I LOVE this bead shop!! I have been to a number of bead shops and have taken a number of classes over the years. But the best classes have been with the owner of Karen and Friends. She is extremely talented and inspires her students to push their boundaries of creativity. I know I have "turned a corner" in my jewelry work. So go to Karen and Friends and just absorb everything that is offered (and buy some extraordinary beads, too).

I give this place a POOR. I had the worst time ever. The owner was very rude and nasty, we were suppose to make something we wanted, something original but instead I left there with a string of beads so call a necklace. It was a class to learn instead she just told you what to do and you better do it. While I will never go back again, I just want to say the store is nice and a lot of beads to choose from and two other employees that were very nice. So if you go just be sure the owner is not there.

I absolutely love this place! It's amazing, my new stop for jewelry! Tons and tons of beautiful beads! I took one of the classes to make a braclet and I had amazing help and now a gorgeous ankle braclet
