He was horrible. He tried to bully me into using tactics of which I wasn't comfortable. He took days to return phone calls and right in the middle of my divorce proceedings went on vacation for three weeks without letting me know! My bill was for over $30,000 in a case where child support wasn't even an issue. Kevin Hand made one of the hardest times in my life even worse. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.
He is a GREAT Lawyer! (as long as he is not your lawyer) – Kevin Hand saved me MANY MANY Thousands of dollars. I got my business, the house and everything I wanted and lots I didn't care about. When divorce was decided, prior to attorney input, I made my ex an offer- she refused to look at it as she had to get all she could through an attorney. My offer was much more than what she got- THANK-YOU Kevin...
Pay yourself - you'll get more out of it!!! – Thankfully I am divorced, unfortunately I used Kevin Hand to represent me. Under the circumstances I got screwed as a single mother that now receives NO child support, had to sell my house and then when I was struggling anyway he threatened to have my car repossesed as leverage and then sued me for the outstanding bill - AT CHRISTMAS TIME!!! I would never recommend him to even my worst enemy.
Worst lawyer ever – Kevin L. Hand was Unprepared. I was in the process of obtaining a divorce. I gave him tons of information and papers to prepare him for my mediation. When he walked into the mediation he came prepared with only a blank legal pad and my wife's attorney came prepared with a hand truck which carried two full boxes of information.
