My husband grew up in Utica and my favorite part of visiting there is going to Karam's. My mother is 100% Syrian and I grew up with my grandmother's (Tata) amazing food. She made homemade syrian bread and Karam's is the only place that comes close to what I remember. All of their food is wonderful -- we always make sure we stop at least once every trip and it's always our favorite meal.
