If I could give a zero, I would! I went to see Dr. Karakla in June because he's supposed to be the best. I have a very large, benign nodule on my right thyroid that needs to be removed. I called so many times (rarely getting through because the phone rings and rings). Someone answered today, finally, after 15 rings. She said someone would get back to me today. Five hours later, the surgery scheduler called only to tell me that Dr. Karakla is retiring and they'd refer me to a doctor in VB. Why didn't they tell me that two mon... read more
I had a parathyroidectmy on Thursday with Dr. Karakla. The most compassionate, caring, soft spoken, but confident Doctor I have ever met. It was worth the wait time to get him. I am so very Thankful to have Dr. Karakla and his staff at the office and the hospital. I would highly recommend Dr. Karakla to anyone that needs surgery for Ears, nose or throat. God Bless you Dr. Karakla, may you continue to help people each and every day.
Dr. Karakla took out part of my tongue and did a phenomenal job.
