Kara is a god sent! I started working with her about 3 years ago after moving back to Rochester from Florida. I was in a pretty bad place. Kara is very thorough and knowledgeable. She always took the time to listen to what was going on. She was able to pin point my mental health struggles and was finally able to diagnosis and treat me for Bipolar II. I liked Kara at first because like others have said she does take a fair amount of time to talk to you compared to other psychiatrists. However I don’t believe she has her patients best interests in mind, I spent many months and even more money working with her only to feel worse in every way while she pressured me to not only continue to take the medication that was hurting me but continuously raising the dosage as well. Kara is thorough and very kind. She takes the time necessary to treat the whole patient. Highly recommend.
