Dr. Kaporis truly stands out in her field. You are able to see that she is a very dedicated, skilled and thoughtful Dr. and provides her patients with a sense of security whereas it feels like she has been doing what she does for 100 years although you know that can’t be true by looking at her!
I apologize if I filed a review on a different doctor within this great practice, who I am sure is also a great doctor. Athena Kaporis is the best dermatologist ever! Really!
As a patient, I expect transparency and fairness from my healthcare providers. Dr. Kaporis’ office failed miserably on both counts. I was charged $150 for what essentially amounted to a 15-minute consultation with no treatment or procedure performed. To make matters worse, the office staff was unapologetic when I questioned the charges. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, I was met with defensiveness and dismissal.
