Until recently, I have been seeing Dr. Kaplan for approx. 9 yrs. For many of those years, I drove 1-2 a month over 90 miles 1 way for our visit. (when I started with her, I lived closer, but we moved.) For 9 yrs. Dr. Kaplan did EVERYTHING in her power to get me away from severe depression & anxiety. I absolutely love Dr. Kaplan. I had a hard time finding a psychiatrist that I felt really cared about me. She not only cares about my mental health but she’s also concerned about my physical health as well. I’m 42 years old and for the first time in 25 years I found my lifetime doctor. She is the best and I would recommend her to anyone. This is my second review on her because I can’t say enough positive things about her! Thank you, Dr. Kaplan for caring and taking care of me!
Until I met Dr. Kaplan, I had terrible experiences w/ Psychiatrists, constantly switching doctors b/c none were the right fit for me. I found them to be cold, apathetic, dismissive, quick to rush me out the door and generally uninterested in getting to know me in order to prescribe the best medication. Dr. Kaplan redefined my view of Psychiatrists. She is warm, friendly, truly cares about her patients, easy to talk to, doesn't judge and even jokes. I pay out of pocket - that's how great she is!
Dr Kaplan is by far the most understanding, compassionate and skilled psychiatrist I have known. She truly cares about her patients, and listens carefully. Her prescriptions helped me immensely, I'm very grateful for her, and recommend her highly.

I have been seeing Dr. Kaplan for several years and would never go to anyone else. She listens, is so compassionate and caring. If one road of treatment doesn't seem to be working, she keeps working with me until we got it right. She never gives up. She was instrumental in getting me approved for Bariatric surgery. I don't know what I would do without her. She would be the type of person that would make an excellent friend!
