My husband John died 1year ago. Hospice and Kaplan house were a gift . John was brought into Kaplan house by. Ambulance. In a very agitated condition, I was greeted and given tea and a beautiful place to wait while they helped John. Shortly I was taken into his beautiful room . John was not as upset and I was able to be with him . I can’t thank hospice and Kaplan house enough.

My Mother spent her last two weeks at the Kaplan Hospice House getting excellent care by the staff. The place is beautiful. So calming and peaceful. Almost like a heaven on earth. I'm so glad her hospital sent her there. I spent the night and there. There is a pullout sofa bed, and so did my friend. They provide snacks, coffee and tea to visitors.my mother loved the singers that entertained her. We loved the therapy dog and reiki. visits.

My mother spent her last days here. She was in constant pain and I even found letters that she wrote saying that she was in pain and was scared to tell anyone there. I also received numerous phone calls from the social worker and when I answered the phone she started asking me very personal questions about myself. My mother passed away two days after receiving those phone calls from the social worker and they were only calling me because they said they needed to move the body because they were not a morgue. there are no words that I can share strong enough other than if someone told you heaven was on earth. It would be this place for the care they took in my mom. Florence will never be forgotten. I love these people if you end up here at end of life or for whatever reason, you are truly blessed.
