I initially reached out to Kapital in Fall of 2022 about a solar installation. They initially described a potential April 2023 installation. I had various delays in the process, but ultimately in December of 2023 I had a functional system. I was particularly frustrated with the lack of communication, miscommunication, and errors that led me to miss the Spring to Fall 2023 solar production season. Kapital Electric installed an EV electrical service to my parking stall in my condo. They did an exceptional job to include going the extra mile for those pesky HOA documents they required. Great communications from the estimator to the installers to the home office for follow up. If you are looking for an approved and recommended Tesla EV installer, they are the ones. They are on the approved EV Tesla list in the Chicago Land area. Great to do business with.

I can’t stress enough bios unprofessional this company is! Do not purchase a solar system with them, they will not respond to a problem nor do they care if your system is not working. I have been doing so much of warranty calls and today I was told if you want you can call electrician.... I was unaware I was on there payroll. Please save yourself the headache and research other solar companies.
I had my whole generator installed by Kapital Electric in 2014. I recently had them out for maintenance and was told they could add a computer that would communicate with my phone using an app called info hub. It would keep me posted on any service needs. I paid for their 3yr premium plan and for the computer attachment. I paid $1053 and the check was cashed immediately. They set up dates for the maintenance and installation and the office called me on the planned service date and said he would be there at 6pm. He never came... read more
I chose Kapital Electric because they were a "platinum dealer" through the Quietcool website. They installed a Quietcool fan in my house that broke 15 minutes after installation. They came right back out and said that the fan was defective and has a bent blade and they had to do a warranty claim. A warranty claim the same day the fan was installed. Great company, the installation took a little while to complete but looks great on our home. A professional electrician in our neighborhood commented on how professional the wiring looks, and they painted all of the conduit to match our siding. The ***** wall charger has been awesome and we have been enjoying the benefits of almost having no electric bill over the past year. Can't wait to get the **** to pay off the rest of the panels and order the powerwall.
The Kapital Electric team did a great job from start to finish. Don came to our house to provide an estimate, explain the process, and answer all my questions. Melissa, in the office, promptly took my calls and responded to e-mails relating to scheduling the appointment and submitting the electrical permit. Lorenzo did an excellent job installing the electrical components and cleaned up after he was done. The entire team was very professional. I would highly recommend them for future electrical work.
They did a great job. I needed a grounded receptacle for my EV charger and they did it.
