What a pathetic organization. KCUC has offices all over the KC metro area. Unfortunately, they won't or can't work together. I had kidney stones about a year ago. KCUC wanted to do a follow-up CT scan after a year. I asked to do the CT Scan in Lee's Summit because it is closer to my home in Pleasant Hill. I was told Lee's Summit did not have the equipment to do a CT Scan, so I had to drive 40 miles to Overland Park, for the CT Scan. Sorry I walked in the door. They will lie to you and even given me the wrong shot and won’t own it. You will be better off going to KU or Mayo. They even agreed with me. I got the wrong Care, unfortunately. in five days shy of the year and more less castrated me
I was recently referred to this practice by my PCP. I had my 1st visit at their NKC location with an APRN named Ashley, (who I am told is no longer there). During the course of this visit, she said I was going to need a further "delicate" procedure performed. She said that using gas in the procedure would cost an additional $100, not paid by insurance. I was diagnosed with prostrate cancer in Jan 2020. I paid out of network prices to go to KCUC. My surgeon was awesome. However, everything in between has been an absolute disaster. I have been trying to get a prescription that the doctor prescribed on Nov 6 th for over 3 months now. His Nurse is actually blocking me from talking to him.
