Let’s talk about the receptionist named Connie, very rude and unprofessional. She’s to old for her position, she can’t multitask, she reads clients charts, that’s a HIPA violation. She can’t keep track of appointments. I was going here for a little over a year. The secretary is so sweet and does what she can between august and nov my appt was pushed three times due to the dr not being in the office. We had a phone appointment which i was waiting for and got no call. I am now out of meds and have already had my emergency 3 pills from wal mart and called today. I have been without import meds for over a week. The doctor's have not been in the office in days.. ( before weather happened) everyday for a week I was told the doc will be in tomm to write your script. The poor receptionist is stuck dealing with all thease people that just want their meds. I feel like I have been abandoned and hung out to dry with no option other than the ER. I will be looking for a new doc in the interim. I haven’t seen Dr Shahbaz Khan in his personal practice but he was my psychiatrist a few weeks ago when I was a patient at Cottonwood Springs in Olathe. Dr. Khan is AMAZING! I’ve never had a dr that really listened to what I had to say and how I was feeling and then had great feedback on everything I had just said to him. My partner has been receiving treatment here for a little over a year, and it has been a very positive experience. We've been to other psychiatric practices that are very impersonal, disorganized, and unhelpful, but the people at KC Psychiatric Consultants are consistently compassionate and have had played a major role in helping my partner deal with his mental illnesses.
