If you are flying Southwest and need sustenance, hit the Pork & Pickle BBQ joint upstairs near gate 41 after security. Tasty pulled pork sliders, decent beer menu and by far the best food at KCI.
Once you enter the boarding gates corridor in terminal C, there is not any screen informing of the flights and boarding gates. And nobody seems to know them!

Flights out are often delayed... silver lining is that there are Starbucks on each end, gate 32 and 40 in terminal b. Check out pork and pickle as well
