Personable physician but analgesia for a painful procedure was inadequate. Pre-op care was minimal and I was not prepared for the procedure. I had significant postoperative pain that I was not prepared for in the guidance given, and did not receive appropriate instructions for sample given. Has been a very frustrating experience.

I strongly suggest you find a different urologist. This urologist put me through unbearable PAIN. I don't want others to go through what I did with this doctor!! I am still in great pain because of her! She did surgery on me and she made horrible surgical mistakes and I had to go to the University of Michigan hospital to have a different urologist perform another surgery to fix what Dr.Rivers did wrong.Do yourself a favor and find a different doctor. You will be so glad you did.

Dr. Rivers was fantastic, she realized I required surgery and two days later she operated on me. The day after all my problems are gone. She spent time with me in her office, and before and after surgery! Thank you Doctor!

I saw Dr. RIvers in office and she immediately knew I needed surgery and got on the phone herself to schedule it. She was kind, patient and so easy to talk to. I felt reassured and in good hands.
