I rescued Chito over 14 years ago. So many vet experiences have been negative, he is unique and it is hard to trust anyone with him. But I would drive across the Earth to bring my badly-behaved senior chihuahua to Dr. White. She performed an intense dental for a reasonable cost, and years later continues to adore him, even though he is not friendly. I cannot imagine going anywhere else.

Not large breed friendly. After they asked me to drug him before we went, they literally told me that Jules is too much dog for them and that I need to find another clinic. You can give him the shots (which they didn't do) but he is not going to let you stick a thermometer up his butt. This place has changed greatly since Roger Troutman retired.

Brought my dog in for allergy visit. The staff are friendly, however the doc did not inform me of the type of medication they were sending me home to use. The medication was an immunosuppressant and i did not realize this until i came home and did some research before giving it to my dog. The doctor did not inform me of this and the only paperwork i received with the meds did not mention this important fact. I always have a lot a questions, they come from a place of curiosity not doubt. Dr. Morrison and White have always treated them as exactly that and help me understand how to best care for my family. Their team has been consistent through some of the worst days of our lives and some of the mundane. If you’re looking for someone who will treat you with respect and grace, Catawba is that place.
