Dr. Kanarek is great! This was my daughter's pediatrician at birth. He was very knowledgeable and caring. He accurately diagnosed her with Spinal Muscular Atrophy having only seen one case prior many years before. He referred us to a neurologist for genetic confirmation of his diagnosis allowing us to become proactive in her care. We had to get a new pediatrician because Dr. Kanarek did not take Kansas Medicaid and we wanted someone in the Children's Mercy network to deal with my daughter's special needs, but we are forever ... read more
