I have now had 2-3 appointments with Dr. Mellos each time I felt rushed. After tests only staff calls back unable to answer questions appropriately. I have insisted Dr Mellis respond herself to my questions but allI get is the staff. The Dr job should be responsible in calling her patients especially with negative results.
Very thorough. Dr. Mellos is concerned and follows through on all blood work and necessary testing. Great staff, beautiful office and very little wait time.
I went to see Dr. Hiotis regarding a twisting, wringing pain I had for over a week. My visit with her lasted about 5 minutes, and that is a generous estimate. She came in unprepared, and it became obvious she did not look at my medical records, nor did she bring in any x-rays. She said often a problem in another area of your body can manifest elsewhere. In January 2025 I visited Dr Hiotis a for scab I had on my nipple. She saw me for maybe 7 minutes. She referred to my most recent imaging but I don’t know if she actually looked only at the report or the imaging too. She took the scab off with her bare hands and told me “ there is nothing to worry about” but without explaining possible causes to the scab. My child had some GI issues and we went to see Dr. Marciano. He gave us instructions on what to do and said email is the best and fastest way to get him. I can not tell you how many times I had to email him. Each time it was evident he had no recollection of my child's case nor took the time to look at the chart before responding. I asked for his blood results for over 2 weeks with not being provided with them. When I knew he had them because on one occasion he responded by cc his assistant to obtain them for him. While we started off on a good foot, but now I'm feeling a tad uneasy about him. He seems to have a 'blow off' demeanor & a lack of care. Not sure if I want to continue on with this Dr. since it involves my heart.
