He knows his stuff. I was seeing another Dr for 2 years that basically turned me over to the PA which only prescribed different drugs with out a diagnosis. I ended up at EMC where he told me I would not leave until he figured out what I had. Thank God that he loves difficult cases.
Dr Kam Newman is an excellent physician, double board certified & asst professor for Med students. Milou (spelling) his nurse is polite and very professional, called me back to see if the referral they gave me was responsive. Professionaly run, and empathetic practice.
I am a fan of Dr. Newman. He is connecting all the dots for me in a way that is empowering. He put me at ease, listens and asks all the right questions. Very fortunate that I have him as my dr.
Unprofessional. Acted like my visit was just one whole big joke. Asked about a what my general ailments were. I started to tell him about my severe back problem. I said well I have a Back issue. He interrupted and said oh we all have that. Was totally dismissive. No real compassion, despite constantly calling me my friend. Lacks professionalism, sobriety.
Finally a rheumatologist that actually treats me. I have had rheumatoid arthritis for 50 years. My previous doctor put me on a heavy dose of NSAIDS and after a couple years it caused enough problems that I was no longer able to continue the medication. My primary and a subsequent rheumatologist had no suggestion for resolving the issue and I have lived in pretty serious pain for 2 years. Finally, an urgent care doctor referred me to Dr. Newman.
