I had Kaltec come out last November to fix my heater since it wasnt blowing out cold air. The technician said it was my sensor. Which is bs since they routinely clog sometimes with dust and cobwebs. At the time I just wanted my heat to work so I went ahewd and let them fix it. I might have ran my heat for another 2 months before spring. Now here I am turning on my heat for the first time this winter and its back to not working even with the new sensor. They fixed NOTHING. I will be calling someone else. Avoid this company.
I couldn’t even get past scheduling. The girl on the phone was all over the place and would not listen. I told her the dates I would be available and she came back with a completely different date. When I stopped her and called her out she would say that she understands but then proceeded to do it again. I contacted Kaltec a few weeks ago regarding my tankless water heater. Kal himself came out on a Saturday and diagnosed the problem. He reached out to Rinnai and was told my tankless water heater needed a new heat exchanger. Their parts department was closed on Saturday's so he ordered the part the following Monday. I texted him on Tuesday and Wednesday and he responds by saying that texting him every day won't speed up the process. I explain to him that I have two infants in the house and need hot water ASAP. Cannot get service for a Garbage Disposal Kaltec installed in December 2023. They keep having excuses not to give me service. It's been over a month. I paid over $ 1000 for this disposal. Pushed out another week. My trust is gone.
They sent out a gentleman named Amir twice to diagnose and then follow up on our A/C issue. I dealt with him one-on-one, as did my fiancé, and he was great each time. Helpful and efficient, and the rates they charged us were very reasonable. Home repairs suck but they made it pretty painless, thanks!
