Like all other reviewers, I had a terrible experience with this “business”. They do not maintain a physical location/the information listed on their website is either incorrect or false. I went to the location listed and spoke to a woman in the office they claim to be in, she reported that Kalman is not located in that office and to her knowledge they never have been. Additionally, when I tried calling the number listed there was no answer and no voicemail. It just rang continuously.
Kalman has been good so far and I will also give David White the benefit of the doubt for his extremely rude behavior in that he might be on medications or have some kind of neurological disorder that affects his impulses, etc. If he doesn't then I don't think he should be answering the phone.
Unfortunately Kalman Management has provided terrible service and is the most inefficient company I have ever worked with. Kalman Management is unresponsive, untimely, and unorganized when handling questions and issues. Please do not consider Kalman as a potential property manager.
Short of a lawsuit, the only way to deal with this company is to file a formal complaint against it with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Make sure your complaint is not frivolous. You can file a complaint online through the consumer portal. Several employees at this company are willing to lie on the phone and on paper, bury complaints filed against this company’s representatives for unethical business practices, and breach contractural obligations.
