Great Value! – I have recently dined at Kally K's and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I went there on a Sunday after church with a group of six. It was busy yet we were greeted and sat immediately. I ordered the fried chicken. It was soooo good. I also loved the variety on the salad bar. Our waitress was very attentive and we never had to wait too long for anything. Great Burgers! – the burgers are great but not my cup of tea to eat in and sit down. i am 35 and most the people eating here are 50+ but i still go there once a week for the burgers and salad bar. for older peeps its quite and dim inside and has a nice at home feel. i have been eating here on and off for over 15 years.
disappointing – the last few times we were there were not very good the food was poor and the service was so-so the last time, and it will be our last, i waited for 50 minutes for my food they served everyone else at the table while i waited, when they were finished my steak came, i ordered it medium, it was raw, cold in the center. didnt want to wait any longer, because the rest of the table was thru, they took the steak off the bill but charges me 7 dollars and change for a tossed salad., when i questioned the manager all ... read more
great Food - excellent waitstaff – I visited Kally K's yesterday (8-19-09) around 1:00. I was there with a group of friends for lunch. We were greeted by a female hostess, that was doing cross-word puzzels at the podium. With no smile or greeting of any kind, she asked "how many?" in a monotone. Great value, Amazing salad bar. – I love the homey feel to this restaurant. The food is great for the value. The salad bar is amazing and nice because you can't fine them a lot anymore. It is a nice place to go with your family and know that your family is eating good for a good low price. Also if you need to celebrate an occasion, they have an amazing bar area and banquet room. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE POOR FOOD TODAY – HAVE BEEN TO KALLY K'S MANY TIMES BEFORE. USUALLY ALWAYS GOOD . THE WAITERS AND WAITRESS ARE SOMEWHAT TO BE DESIRED. SOME ARE GOOD AND OTHERS ARE NOT. HAIR IN FOOD; NO APOLOGY, NOTHING! – While eating the food, I found a long black hair in it! UGH! Nauseated; couldn't even finish eating. I showed the waiter who said nothing. I tried to peek in the kitchen to see if cooks wore hairnets or hats or anything but a hostile employee told me to get away from there. I tried a third person. Great value and great food – My family and I (15) overall went to Kally k's for a birthday party. We had a blast, the owner sang happy birthday to my friend in a tenor's voice. The steak and the prime rib cooked to perfection and the price was a fraction of expected. I recomended to my friends in New York, who tried it and loved it. I will give this establishment a 9.5
