Was treated abominably by this firm after 13 years of being a pleasant, helpful and decent client. Their dubious actions caused me a lot of trouble and a lot of money two weeks before my taxes were due. I never once was contacted by them to inform me that they planned to shamefully drop me before this deadline (I presume based on related correspondence) at the behest of (related) third parties, who I also presume benefit from my terrible position nor did I ever receive any of my files from them . As others expressed this firm is extremely unprofessional and at times unethical. When I switched firms they held my basis schedules hostage until days near the tax deadline. Carolee and Steve claimed they “didn’t have my basis schedules” It took me showing up to their office and magically within 2 minutes they found my basis schedules.

Writing this review as an officer, an owner of a business which this firm represented. After being in a business dispute with my partners, despite owning 90% of the company and being recognized CFO by California their office, refused to provide me copies of my tax returns and K-1. They simply took the side of my business partner/brother because he had many other returns with them and ultimately more total fees for them.
