Mike notified me when he was on his way today and kindly addressed a backflow testing requirement from the City of Duluth in addition to ensuring that my boiler is ready for winter. Mike was good as usual but I"m not sure the price was right for the amount of work that was preformed. Since the 190 dollar initial fee was not waved it seemed a little high for what Mike had to do. It was a furnace start up for the season with no parts needed. This is no reflection on Mikes work this is a question as to the cost. Thank You.

We just moved up to MN from IL this past June, and this was the first time I've dealt with a boiler for heating. Tom took the time to explain how the unit worked, and what to watch out for regarding any potential problems. He thoroughly tested the unit and showed me an adjustment to make that would have it operate more efficiently. For professional and friendly service at a good price, I highly recommend using Kalkbrenner Plumbing/Heating.
